Sky Cinema - Barbie

Released on Sky Cinema, Barbie is the first live-action film based on the iconic Mattel fashion doll. This vibrant fantasy comedy follows Barbie and Ken as they embark on a journey of self-discovery, traveling from the perfection of Barbieland into the unpredictability of the real world.

 

For this project, I embraced the dreamy, surreal nature of Barbieland. The animation features: a 3D pink heart cloud, with a camera movement that glides through it to reveal the key art; a “Real World This Way” sign, subtly nodding to Barbie’s adventure; a 2D background with a moving foreground, adding depth and liveliness; and the credits integrated within the iconic Barbie logo, keeping everything in line with the film’s signature style.
