Sky Original - The Day of the Jackal

Released on Sky Cinema in 2024, this British television series is based on the classic novel of the same name and follows a ruthless assassin, known as the "Jackal," and the intelligence officer determined to capture him.

With only the key art as an asset, I wanted to bring a sense of action to the graphic, particularly in the transition from the credits to the visual. Inspired by the trailer, I incorporated elements that reflect the precision and intensity of an assassin’s world. A sniper scope effect was used to create movement, seamlessly transitioning from the credits to the graphic. The city landscape moves in a bird’s-eye view across the title art, reinforcing the sense of surveillance and pursuit. Finally, a sharp gunshot sound effect triggers a quick and bright transition back to the credits, adding a dramatic finishing touch.
